Religious Leaders Creating ‘Underground Railroad’ to Hide Illegal Aliens

This so called man of God said (at about 2:10 in the video) that he is breaking federal law because he “answers to God” and so he must help illegal aliens by hiding them in secret locations all over his area. He makes the assumption, and I would also think he hopes, that the people watching him claim on camera to be doing God’s work don’t actually read their Bible because he is breaking the laws of the land and the Bible clearly declares that is sin. So he is correct in assuming he will “answer to God” for it, but not in the way he believes. And for an added bonus for his sinful rebellion, he will eventually answer to the authorities that write and enforce the laws because they are ordained of God to do so.   Continue reading

‘Faithful’ Catholic senator wants to force healthcare providers in New Mexico to participate in abortion

Gerald_Ortiz_y_Pino_810_500_55_s_c1A self-described “faithful” Catholic has introduced legislation forcing Christian healthcare workers to refer for abortions and Christian hospitals to perform them.

State Senator Gerald Ortiz y Pino introduced Senate Bill 282, which would repeal religious exemptions for participating in abortions.

SB-282 states, “A hospital shall not refuse to provide a reproductive health service if withholding the reproductive health service would result in or prolong a serious risk to the patient’s life or health; and, where a failure to provide the reproductive health service would violate the medical standard of care owed the patient.”   Continue reading

Australian Catholic Church Alleges 7% Of Priests Sexually Abused Kids Over Decades

ap_0807190566_custom-d9c625bfee2fdde76229943e04461ec82cba6525-s1500-c85Seven percent of Catholic priests in Australia between 1950 and 2010 allegedly sexually abused children, according to data provided by church authorities in a major investigation.

Australia is the latest country to unearth widespread, decades-long child abuse by Catholic Church authorities.

The findings were released by The Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, which launched in 2013 to look at child abuse in places like schools and government organizations.

It started surveying church authorities shortly afterward, in response to the high number of survivors who told the commission they were abused at a Catholic Church institution.   Continue reading

Pope Francis praises German Protestants and Catholics for cooperation

37431230_303As Reformation Year begins, Pope Francis welcomed a high-ranking Protestant delegation from Germany to the Vatican on Monday. The pontiff urged both denominations to put all remaining differences aside.

In a meeting in Rome with Heinrich Bedford-Strohm, the chair of the Council of the Protestant Church in Germany (EKD), Pope Francis called for the Reformation’s 500th anniversary to be an opportunity for increased efforts to achieve ecumenism.

“We must, with imploring prayer and all of our strength, strive to overcome the obstacles that still exist,” Pope Francis said.   Continue reading

Can a Baptist be a Catholic?

eucharistic-breadA cadre of Baptist scholars has been writing about emerging catholicity, the holy desire for unity among all ecclesial communions. Taking tradition more seriously as a source for theological construction, these Baptists urge usage of the ancient creeds of the apostolic heritage of the whole church to supplement their reading of Scripture. A leading theologian in the movement, Steven Harmon, contends, “Baptists have their own distinctive ecclesial gifts to offer the church catholic, without which even the churches currently in communion with the bishop of Rome are something less than fully catholic themselves.”

As a staunch Baptist I, too, long for catholicity. In many respects the future of Christianity depends upon a greater ecumenicity. Regular prayer with Benedictines has kindled a burning desire in me for Christ’s church to be one. When worshiping with these Christian brothers and sisters, I feel acutely the separation when the Eucharist is celebrated. While I understand the linkage of the meal to the larger sacramental system of the Roman Catholic Church, it reminds me that the unity for which Jesus prayed in John 17 is not yet realized. My spiritual friend, Abbot Gregory of Conception Abbey (a nearby monastery), shares this longing “that they might be one.”   Continue reading

To help desperate refugees, Mormons and Catholics join hands

Syrian_refugee_Credit_thomas_koch_via_wwwshutterstockcom_CNAThe Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has given $1.25 million in aid to Catholic refugee relief efforts.

“Together, as people of faith, we know that refugees desperately need our help – and this generosity allows us to serve many more,” said Bishop Eusebio Elizondo, auxiliary bishop of Seattle and chairman of the U.S. bishops’ Committee on Migration.

The LDS Church, whose members are colloquially known as Mormons, gave cash and donated goods to aid newly arrived refugees. The refugees are helped through Catholic dioceses’ resettlement offices under the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Migration and Refugee Services. The donation will help welcome refugees and help them build new lives, the U.S. bishops’ conference reported.  Continue reading

Euthanasia ‘tourists,’ including children, flock to Catholic-majority Belgium where assisted suicide is free and easy

anti-euthanasia-protest-in-belgiumIt’s free, easy … and deadly indeed.

That’s how physician-assisted suicide looks like in Belgium, ironically a Catholic-majority European nation. Patients—including children—suffering from terminal diseases or psychiatric conditions have been flocking to the European country to have their wish of ending their misery fulfilled. The patients are killed with a lethal injection administered by a doctor.

Doctors at hospitals and clinics in Brussels, the Belgian capital, are seeing an increase in number of euthanasia “tourists” who come from all over the world, mostly from neighbouring France, the International Business Times (IBT) reports. Continue reading

VIDEO: Muslims go to Catholic Mass across France to show solidarity

_90520544_mediaitem90520543“In a gesture of solidarity following the gruesome killing of a French priest, Muslims on Sunday attended Catholic Mass in churches and cathedrals across France and beyond. Reporters on the scene said that between 100 and 200 Muslims gathered at the towering Gothic cathedral in Rouen, only a few miles from Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, where the 85-year-old Rev. Jacques Hamel was killed by two teenage attackers on Tuesday. “We’re very touched,” Archbishop Dominique Lebrun told broadcaster BFMTV. “It’s an important gesture of fraternity . They’ve told us, and I think they’re sincere, that it’s not Islam which killed Jacques Hamel.” –Source

But it was Islam that killed that priest! But as we know, Satan uses lies and fear to his advantage very easily today in the age of lying. His main hub of organization is in fact the Roman Catholic Vat of sin. This we have no doubt on because of thehistoric facts that match perfectly with Christian prophecy. We also know they need to make the quickly growing (and well placed) Muslim community look less dangerous and bloodthirsty while at the same time continue on with killings all over the globe to do so.

Evangelical Lutherans Overwhelmingly Vote to Approve Declaration of Unity With Roman Catholics

ELCA-compressed-701x423NEW ORLEANS, La. — The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) voted overwhelmingly last week to approve a declaration of unity with the Roman Catholic Church in an endeavor to “enumerate the many points of agreement between Lutherans and Catholics”—a move that some state is contrary to biblical Christianity.

The “Declaration on the Way” was approved 931-9 during the denominational assembly at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. According to an official press release by the ELCA, members stood and applauded following the vote.

The declaration “seeks to make more visible the unity we share by gathering together agreements reached on issues of church, Eucharist and ministry,” the document outlines. However, it is called “on the way” because “dialogue has not yet resolved all the church-dividing differences on these topics.” Continue reading
