Year 2020 is now a history which is beyond our amendment and control. We only have to learn the lessons that it gave us. Let us enter this year with a determined faith and to be more serious in our walk in this narrow path. This week’s headlines shows that Religious laws is coming. Let us not love this world nor the things that are in the world but rather focus on the eternal. Very soon, our Lord and Savior Jesus will come to redeem us. Let us prepare to meet our God!
“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:16-17
The current pope just declared that 2021 as a year dedicated to the family. How is this compatible with the message of former pope in 2012 when he said that Sundays must be a day of rest dedicated to God, family. Yes, Sunday is family day! So, you see now how the pope is conditioning the people to receive his mark when it is enforced.
By the way, one of the brethren from Mexico just shared that it’s now mandatory to close on Sundays all kinds of businesses from now until further notice. It’s really coming – no buy, no sell!
Related post below where it shows what closes on Sunday in Mexico signed by the state governor.
ROME’S COVID HYPE/CHURCH AND STATE (IMAGE OF THE BEAST)
“And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.” Revelation 18:23
“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed” Revelation 13:15
Don’t you know that way back in 2017, World leaders rehearse for a pandemic that will come ‘sooner than we expect’? This was prior to the pandemic simulation they did in 2019. That’s why we know this pandemic is all planned after all and an opportunity for the great reset or NWO that will lead to enforcing the mark of the beast.
ANIMALS ARE DYING IN MASS
“Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood. Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.” -Hosea 4:1-3
Why Should We “Not love the world?
Because the Word of God has forbidden us
1Jn 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Because its friendship is enmity (hatred) with God
Jas 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Because it did not know Christ
Joh 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
Joh 17:25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
Those who keep the commandments do know Christ/God – 1Jn 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
Because it hates Christ
Joh 7:7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
Joh 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
Because Christ did not pray for it
Joh 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
Because Christ’s followers do not belong to it
Joh 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Because it will not receive the Spirit
Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Joh 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Because its Prince is Satan
Joh 13:31 Therefore, when he (Judas Iscariot) was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
Joh 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged..
Because Christ’s kingdom is not of it
Joh 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Because its wisdom is foolishness
1Co 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
1Co 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
Because Christ does not belong to it
Joh 8:23 And he said to them, You are from beneath; I am from above: you are of this world; I am not of this world.
Because it is condemned
1Co 11:32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
Because the fashion of it will pass away
1Co 7:31 And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passes away.
Because it slew Christ
Jas 5:6 Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.
Mat 21:39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.
Because it is crucified to us and we are crucified to it
Gal 6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
Because it is the seat of wickedness
2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
1Jn 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
Because its god is the evil one
2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Because the gain of it is the loss of the soul
Mat 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
Let us focus on Eternal
2Co 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Philippians 3:7-8 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yes doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ.
“These are the words of God to us. The past is contained in the book where all things are written. We cannot blot out the record; but if we choose to learn them, the past will teach us its lessons. As we make it our monitor, we may also make it our friend. As we call to mind that in the past which is disagreeable, let it teach us not to repeat the same error. In the future let nothing be recorded which will cause regret in the by and by.
We may now avoid a bad showing. Every day we are making our history. Yesterday is beyond our amendment or control; today only is ours. Then let us not grieve the Spirit of God today, for tomorrow we shall not be able to recall what we have done. Today will then be yesterday.
Let us seek to follow the counsel of God in all things, for He is infinite in wisdom. Though in the past we have come short of doing what we might have done for our children and youth, let us now repent and redeem the time. The Lord says: “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword.” Isaiah 1:18-20. The message, “Go forward,” is still to be heard and repeated. The varying circumstances taking place in our world call for labor that will meet these peculiar developments. The Lord has need of men who are spiritually sharp and clear-sighted, men who are certainly receiving manna fresh from heaven. The Holy Spirit works upon the hearts of such men, and God’s word flashes light into the mind, revealing to them more than ever before the true wisdom.” 6T 149.
We often hear, “Life is short, better enjoy it”! How about we say, “Eternity is long, better prepare for it”!
